YOGA NIDRA ENGLISH audio

Yoga Nidra is a meditative yoga practice. It is a state of sleep and wakefulness. It’s a perfect relaxation. Adults can use the Yoga nidra.

The Yoga nidra is designed by Swami Satyananda Saraswati, the founder of the Institute Bihar school of Yoga in India.

 

CONDITION FOR PRACTICE:

  • Continuous & undisturbed time of 30 minutes.
  • A separate calm and quiet room where no one is allowed to disturb you.
  • Dimmed light (bright light or dark light should be avoided).
  • A mat on the floor.

 

PREPARATION:

  • Wear loose fitting clothes, take off your watch, belt, jewellery and make yourself comfortable and relaxed.
  • There is total silence and no disturbances in the environment.
  • Lie down on the mat ground and lie in shavasana.
  • Listen to the instructions during the Yoga nidra.

 

You enter a deep state of relaxation and meditation. Before starting, please make a resolve to complete the Yoga nidra. 

An interruption can cause a headache.
